Scafuri Bakery Specialty Cakes
A great cake is a labor of love.
We start by mixing our cake batter from scratch with simple ingredients. We bake our cakes in our historic oven that has produced quality Scafuri goodness for decades. With both original and new recipes, our small team of bakers uphold the same passion for quality that began with Luigi Scafuri in 1904 and continued with his daughter Annette for over 100 years in the Little Italy neighborhood of Chicago.
Our homemade fillings are made with real fruit, butter, eggs, and cream. Our Italian buttercream is made by whipping butter into an airy Italian meringue, creating a frosting that is silky, light, and not-overly-sweet.
You’ll find a wide variety of flavors to suit every taste, both classic and adventurous. Mix and match and have fun with it!
