Where do you ship?
We ship all across the United States. Currently, we are not able to ship outside of the U.S. due to safety, quality, and customs concerns.
Can I pick a specific date for the delivery of the order?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date for your order. Because it does take time to process and pack your order, and because Scafuri Bakery relies on other companies to deliver our cookies (USPS and Federal Express), it is challenging to guarantee specific days & times. However, if there is a special occasion or reason you desire the cookies to be delivered on a specific day, we can attempt to process your request using overnight delivery. Please call us at 312-733-8881 to discuss this possibility as ordering overnight on the website does not mean you will receive it the next day as we have to process your order before we can ship it.
Can I include a note with my order if I am sending something as a gift?
Of course! During checkout you can type in the "add a note" field and we will include a note in the box on a beautiful Scafuri postcard.
Can I place an order and pick it up in the shop?
Currently, we do not offer in-store pickup using the online order form. Feel free to call us at 312-733-8881 to place an order for pick up or stop by our Taylor Street location. You can also send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange in-store pickup. Typically a minimum of 2-3 days notice is required for special orders.
How many Italian cookies are in a pound?
The weight varies between cookie varieties and batches. All of our cookies are made by hand, not machine, that's the Scafuri Difference. Sometimes a cookie is small and sometimes it is not -- baked products have a mind of their own. In general, a pound of cookies is approximately 15-20 cookies.
How can I find out the status of my order?
Your confirmation email contains your order number and explains the next steps in the process. You will receive a shipping notification email once your order is complete. You can email us at email@example.com if you want to check on an order. You can try and call the store also but to check on an online order, we need to get to the computer and pull up the order -- if we are busy, this is very difficult.
